Mclowd provides a number of account management options. These can be accessed via the Mclowd Account menu link, located in the Settings Menu (top right, above the main menu tabs).
NOTE: Until you have entered all required Member information for any Members created, Mclowd will regularly display a warning popup advising you that Member Details are required. If you selected ‘’All Members as Trustees’’ when setting up your Fund, this popup will repeatedly appear until you have completed entry of all required information for the member created at Setup. The Fund Setup Button Menu will be greyed out until you have provided the required information.
Select UPDATE NOW to enter these details, or CANCEL to continue with Account Management tasks.
Open the Settings Menu and select Mclowd Account.
Mclowd displays this screen:
The button menu offers options to Edit your user name (change the user name or email attached to your account; change your password; setup MFA security; implement bank data feeds; view your payments and subscriptions; or delete your Mclowd account.
Selecting EDIT USERNAME allows you to change the user name or email address attached to your account.Make the desired changes, then click CHANGE USER DETAILS to confirm the name and email address displayed.
Clicking the CHANGE PASSWORD button displays:
Enter your current password to confirm authority. Type your new password (at least six characters including at least one letter and one number). Re-type your new password to confirm.
Click CHANGE PASSWORD to save your new password.
Choose the SETUP MFA option on the Mclowd Account menu to add MFA security to your account. Mclowd displays:
To implement MFA security, you will need to download an authenticator app on your iOS, Android or Blackberry device. Search your app store for an authenticator app. There are many available for most smartphones, and most will work with Mclowd. Mclowd recommends Google Authenticator, which is available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices.
Install the app, then open it.
Pair the app with your Mclowd account by scanning the bar code displayed on your Mclowd screen with the authenticator app.
Finally, verify that the pairing was successful by entering the authentication code. (Codes are time dependent, so you will need to make sure that the date/time on your phone is correct and set to ”automatic”.)
Click FINISH SETUP to complete setup of MFA Security.
From this point on, you should check the ”I Have an MFA Token” checkbox on the login screen to enter your verification code when logging in.
Bank data feeds are available as a paid extra, and provide a low cost an option for Mclowd users who want to save themselves time entering data and verifying bank transactions. SDS Data feeds are real time and will keep your accounts up to date by automatically importing all transaction data into Mclowd, allowing you to simply assign debits and credits to the appropriate expense and income accounts.
Manual import is also available as an option, free of charge. Manual import is particularly useful for importing historical data.
The DDH Graham Data Feeds and Macquarie Data Feeds buttons are being removed from the Trustee edition. These functions are available only to Practitioner users.
Clicking the PAYMENTS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS button displays a list of payments you have made to Mclowd and your current subscriptions (if any).
Delete Fund or Account
Should you wish to close your Mclowd account permanently and delete all data, OR just delete fund data and start over, click the DELETE ACCOUNT button on the Mclowd Account button menu page.
Mclowd offers the option to:
- delete your entire account (removing your email address and password from the Mclowd database and preventing any future login), or
- delete fund data only and retain your login so that you can start a new account or migrate an account.
Deleting a Fund or an Account will delete all fund, asset, transaction and member data entered into the deleted Fund or Account. Only do this if you are certain you will not need to access this data again. It may be wise to print reports or export your data to an Excel spreadsheet before deleting.
Deleting an Account will also delete all SDS Data Feed Subscription data and recurring billing. If you are restarting an account or transferring to a different account and wish to continue to receive SDS Data Feeds, please email email@example.com or submit a Feedback Form to request transfer of your SDS account and billing cycle BEFORE you proceed with deletion of the existing Account.
Deleting an Account will also delete online lodgment extracts, Actuarial Certificate data, and your Marketplace account. You will need to purchase Online Lodgment and Actuarial data again.
Before deleting an account, you should download copies of all payment receipts for payments made via Payments and Subscriptions or through the Marketplace.
Please note that the following data will be retained after your account is deleted:
- Migration and/or annual support contracts purchased but not yet used
- System logs (These do not contain any information that would identify you or your Fund)
- Payment records in Stripe. These contain minimal identifying information (name, email, Fund name, etc.) Mclowd does not store credit card data on our servers. Stripe stores data only in strict compliance with PCI-DSS regulations.
When you click the Delete Account button, Mclowd displays the Delete Account screen. Use the radio buttons to choose whether to delete the Fund only or the Entire Account.
Regardless of which option you select, Mclowd will require you to:
- enter and confirm your password, and
- type ‘DELETE’ (all in CAPS) to confirm your desire to delete.
If you chose the Delete Fund radio button:
- Click the DELETE FUND button.
You can utilize the option to delete Fund data and start over if you have made entry errors or opted to simply test Mclowd features before commencing Fund management.
If you choose the DELETE ACCOUNT radio button, Mclowd will ask you for some feedback.

Complete the Feedback form, then click the DELETE ACCOUNT button.
