Australian Securities and Investments Commission: Superannuation and Investments provides general information about SMSFs and regulation plus useful links
ASIC's MoneySmart website provides very general information, but has a section on SMSFs that may be useful
ASIC's Super and Retirement calculators may assist some trustees with retirement planning
SuperGuide is a subscription-based information website providing "a straightforward online reference about superannuation, retirement planning and the Age Pension". Although there are fees to access much of the valuable information supplied, there is a considerable amount of general information available free. Subscribe to access over 650 articles, guides, checklists, tips, calculators and case studies and ask questions of an expert on superannuation and investing, including aged pension entitlements.
InvestSmart, while selling advice and investment opportunities, also provides a free portfolio manager that is very useful for finding information about and comparing historical returns from different investments. There is a wealth of free information available on this website.
