Delete a bank account

Mclowd does not currently support deletion of bank accounts you have set up, but does allow you to block them for further posting so that you can’t accidentally post transactions to closed accounts.

Click the BANK ACCOUNT tab.

Find the bank account you wanted to delete and click BLOCKED FOR POSTING in that row.


Be sure that all debits and credits to this account have been posted and the account reconciled. The account balance should be zero.



Mclowd will ask you to confirm that you want to block this account for further posting.

When you confirm, Mclowd will show the account as blocked and the account will not display in the drop-down selection list when attempting to post income, expenses or bank transfers.
