Data Security

Unfortunately no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be secure. However Mclowd has taken steps to create a secure transaction environment for the payment of Membership fees.  Our payment system uses Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL), which locks all information passed from you to Mclowd in an encrypted envelope.  This technology makes it difficult for an unauthorised party to intercept, as long as you browser and local network support the use of encrypted data.

SSL is an industry standard for encryption technology, and is compatible with Internet Explorer, Netscape and most other browsers. Secure web pages can also be identified by their URL: they begin with ‘https://’, while standard pages begin with ‘http://’.

Notwithstanding the application of this technology, Mclowd cannot accept responsibility for the unauthorised access by a third party and/or the corruption of data sent by you to us during transmission.  Once we receive your transmission, we use our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems.
